Help with importing program music
Where is your program music stored?
Note: you need to have the actual music file (.aac, .mp3, .mp4, .wav, etc) and not stored on iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, Tidal, or Pandora or Youtube.
- On your phone
- Where on your phone is your music stored?
- In a file storage app (iCloud Drive, Google Drive, Dropbox, Box, or Microsoft OneDrive)
- You’re good to go! You can now import your music. Follow the instructions in “Adding a new program” to get started.
- Anywhere else (Voice Memos, Safari)
- Download a file storage app (iCloud Drive, Google Drive, Dropbox, Box, or Microsoft OneDrive). We recommend Google Drive.
- Find the Share icon.
- Upload the music to the file storage app (e.g. ‘Copy to Drive’, ‘Import with Box’, ‘Import/Save to Dropbox’, ‘Add To iCloud Drive’, ‘Import with OneDrive’)
- You’re good to go! You can now import your music. Follow the instructions in “Adding a new program” to get started.

- Where on your phone is your music stored?
- On your computer or a CD
- If your music is on a CD, put the CD in a computer with a CD Drive (with a place to put CDs).
- Using your computer, upload your file to a file storage app (iCloud Drive, Google Drive, Dropbox, Box, or Microsoft OneDrive).
- We recommend Google Drive, which requires a Google account - instructions found here. https://support.google.com/drive/answer/2424368?co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop&hl=en
- If this file storage app is not already downloaded on your phone, download it from the App Store on your phone.
- You’re good to go! You can now import your music. Follow the instructions in “Adding a new program” to get started.
